Intsuite stores your intelligence gathered as 'Nodes' of information. Because there are many different types of information we might gather, there are many different Node Types we can use to represent each piece of information.
For example, during our covert investigation, we have identified a vehicle that may form part of our case, we don't know too much about it yet, but we do know its a Mazda and it's blue. We can store this information as a new node of information using the Node Type of a 'Vehicle'
Let's say a day later, we get a closer lool the vehicle and get a photro of the registration number. We can now add anew node of intelligence for the Registration Plate and upload the photo to the Registration Plate node. We can also creat a link between the Vehicle and ther Registtration Plate so that in our case, we can quickly see the relationship. If on another day, we see the samee vehicle with a different registration plate, we can add a new node for the new registration plate and link that also to the vehicle. We now have a record of that data and the links.
On the next day, we see a person we believe to be a suspect driving the vehicle, we can now add a new Person node that is classes as a Suspect to our case with as much as we know about that person, including any photo's and we can link that person to the vehicle.
In this way, using Nodes and Edges (or links) we can track all our random pieces of information and link them together or unlinke them as we need to.
That is how Intsuite dels with all your intelligence and helps you track it, visualize it an search it. All in a visual tool that perfectly handles random data that typically is gathered during a covert investigation.
How is intelligence stored ?
